Jürgen Sieck, received his degree in mathematics and his PhD in computer science from the Humboldt University Berlin, Germany. He is principle researcher at the INKA research group and professor for computer sciences with a specialisation in algorithms, multimedia and mobile application at the HTW Berlin. In 2013 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Odessa National Polytechnic University. Since 2015, he is also a professor of computer science at NUST Windhoek, Namibia.
